[GreenKeys] Dovetron TU question - keying a transmitter

The Dovetron manuals I have leave me frustrated - lots of info about how
their UARTs work and next to nothing on hooking the box up.
I want to key a transmitter when I start typing - I assume there should be
some PTT output (open collector or relay) to make that happen. But I can't
figure it out. Do they expect that the transmitter will always be keyed by
VOX?
Why would anyone leave this info out of the manual????

Okay, I am sure after this rant, some kind soul will say - "Look on page 2
of a manual on your own damn site.....".
