I just acquired a 33 in pristine shape and am having a bit of problem getting the keyboard to trigger the distributor (local or line mode with loop supply).
I tried to search the archives at:
http://www.rtty.com/greenkeys.htm
and
http://mailman.qth.net/search.html
but get this:
Not Found
The requested URL /cgi-bin/htsearch was not found on this server.
Anyway...
If I hit the break key, it does what it is supposed to, but in order to get it to trip the distributor typing normally, I have to manually pull down the cam lever on the right side of the keyboard (then back up to reset) for each keystroke.
I have attached a photo that shows what I'm talking about.
Additionally, I notice that not all rows of the type head get lined up as instead of numbers 1..., I get Q...
If I turn on the tape punch, the correct holes are punch that correspond to the key being pressed. It did work a few times, but usually not.
At least I have a 32 to compare it to - which has helped (thanks to previous help from the guys, here).
Thanks!
