[GreenKeys] 120vdc at 4-5 amps?

 Thanks to all for comments and suggestions - keep 'em coming!

Some comments -
1) I have used a Variac with bridge rectifier and capacitor for testing - I
always feel kinda nervous when running a hot AC line to the insulation in a
1930's Wheatstone perforator, though.
2) Of course I sold my 1kw isolation transformer a couple of hamfests ago,
thinking I'd never need that heavy beast.
3) Switching supplies often respond oddly to loads like motor startup or
the big whopping 120v/1a solenoid in the Wheatstone perforator, so I am
nervous about them as well.

I'll watch out for some largish 28v and 48v transformers or p/s at Fair
Radio and Dayton in a few weeks. Avoiding shipping on heavy iron is always
a good idea.
