[GreenKeys] Perforator question...

Hi Jim,
Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been hopping around here and there on the 19, getting things all ready to go and whatnot. 95% complete, I’d say… not including the circuit box that I’ll put together here sometime soon, once I have a better idea on how I’m going to lay it out. Anyways, I got it all going. Is there any way to get the tape punch and the typing unit to work together? As it is right now:
To get the keyboard to work… DC (with a 2K ohm resistor) in on 42, 41 is looped to 34, and 32 is DC out.
To get the tape punch to work… DC in on 24 and out on 25, without a resistor. In the past, I’ve disconnected the loop from 41 & 34, just to be safe.
Can I do DC in on 24, loop 25 to 42 with the the 2K ohm resistor, loop 41 to 34 and then out on 32???… or could I also power the two power schemes above separately (unsure if the two above are already interconnected)? Not solid at all if the idea would work… might even short out - these wiring diagrams can sometimes make my head spin xD hahah!!!~
Thanks as always!
Eric :)
