Not to stray too far off topic, but I used a much cheaper (but still
"ergonomic", with separated right and left hands -- sort of like the
old MS Natural) keyboard for many years with good effect (sub-$100,
probably, I'm not sure how expensive).  However, I've had significant
wrist pain at various points, and I decided I would up my ergonomics
game about two years ago.  I spent somewhere around $300 total on an
Ergodox Infinity from Input:Club, and I've never looked back.  I
haven't had significant wrist pain since.  (There are now cheaper
Ergodox-style keyboards available out of China, I should note.  YMMV.)

That said, if you don't have problems, it's one less rat hole to fall
into.  :-)
