Like I said a few days ago here on the list: if I see only very, very little wear and tear on an 100+ year old item and Phillips head screws, a red flag goes up immediately.
Again, I am not an expert, but I have the feeling that something is not right with that particular ebay item. Actually, I hope that I am wrong - would like to see more original old treasures coming down from dusty attics.

Seems the motor on the Ebay example is mounted toward the operator, while on Duncan's example it is mounted toward the rear.
This seems a little strange.
