[GreenKeys] ITTY

This gets even stranger!

I was not joining in on the thread earlier because there was so much noise and I had nothing to really add except 'mine works' so I stayed silent.

Now this:
1. In Google and Firefox the following link works just as it always has: http://internet-tty.net:8000/ITTY
2. With the new URLs that Paul has provided, Google downloads "ITTY.m3u" if I chose 'itty.' "AUTOSTART.m3u" if I chose 'autostart,' and "EUROPE.m3u" if I chose 'europe.'
3. My FireFox gave me the option to down load the 'm3u' file with an option to do this by default in the future. I just closed FireFox without doing anything, and tried the URL from #1 above and it 'played' the TTY tunes as I expected!

How strange, Maybe the Shadow Knows!

And Martin, I have never experienced anything like you have been experiencing nor heard of anyone else having those issues. It generally 'just works' right off the bat! Without throwing more fuel on the fire, have you experimented with Google? Also how about using the browser on a Smart Phone if you have one. I have an iPhone and Safari plays the URL in #1 above just fine.

Don't know if any of this helps anyone at all, but just wanted to mention a somewhat strange result that I got.

I have tried IE and that simply streams the data into a download file, maybe this is what firefox is doing for an hour before deciding it can be played!

I have managed to get it to work straight away only by using VLC.

I tried turning off AV to no avail and also tried other addresses but the only answer seems to be VLC. This was never a problem before when I used the old ITTY system. Maybe it is because it doesnt know its an MP3? I dont know.

Also, am I right in thinking Autostart only produces audio when active?
I was expecting a constant Mark?

Thanks

Martin
