[GreenKeys] Brightness

Should be about the same as a “well house”, except that instead of a well head inside, there’s a spring
Not too many places left in the US where surface water is safe to drink as it comes from the spring, though...
I have a deep well. Underground is not where it freezes... the pressure tank and plumbing from the well cap to the tank is exposed (before the water line is buried to run to the house).
So I also have insulation in the well house walls, a thermostatically operated heat lamp, and heating tapes around the exposed pipes.

Pardon, but what is a "spring house"?
Related to a "winter home"?

Must have been reading my mind. As I start inventorying the compact 28 I want to replace the incandescent lamps with LEDs but I course want to color match as best I can. I'll also still course provide a box of the real thing.

The chart that was posted is helpful to get approximately the same brightness out of a LED as you had with the old incandescent.
The only issue is a lot of country folks use the common incandescent bulbs as heaters for their spring house and other small areas that need heating. They can get a special heating bulb I imagine but it will not be as cheap as common incandescent ones.
I have two bulbs in my spring house. In the winter if the outside temp goes below 32, one lamp comes ON. If it blows, a relay lights the other one which is painted red. Slog down in the snow and replace the first bulb. However, all this info is useless as we are finally going to drill a deep well this summer. No heating needed and no tending the spring.
