[GreenKeys] Teletype clock + 5-to-8 level converter

Nick,

I have the unit shown on Page 6, Figure 5. It does not have the stepper relay

that’s required for it to scan the digits. The clock outputs a parallel five-level

code for each digit that has to be scanned and serialized. I started working on a

stepper circuit, using a suitable stepper relay, but it got set aside during the recent move.

The stepper works in conjunction with a Model 28 parallel-to-serial distributor mounted on the

28ASR’s TD frame.

If I can find the clock, I’ll send a picture.

Paul has one, too. But I don’t know what version he has. It came with a 28ASR

he picked up a few years ago.

Thanks for the info!!! All I have is the wiring diagram.

Jack K2TTY

I've been scanning a bunch and come across some interesting gadgets-

#1 - Station Converter - just the ticket for interfacing your 5-level machines to your ASCII computer!

http://www.navy-radio.com/manuals/tty/station-converters-brochure.pdf

#2 - "ILB 24-hour timer (LCL)" - a time of day clock (5-wire output?)

What does ILB stand for? or should that be a Bell System 1LB number?

All I have are the parts book and wiring diagram -

What a nifty gadget this must be.

Does anyone have a 570-203-100 or 299B manual that I could borrow to scan?

Does anyone have photos of one of these gadgets? Jack???

Or an LCL to sell/trade?
