Carl,
I used a small rubber grommet and it worked perfectly.
Just slip it onto the bracket.
The original part looks a lot like the “unobtainium” print hammer
for a Model 28 reperforator, which also tended to disintegrate over
time.

Subject: [GreenKeys] Part number for plastic part on model 33 that is part of the line feed mechanism
My 33 ASR machine stopped performing line feeds last week. I discovered that a plastic part near the bell that links the line feed function bar up to the platen assembly had fragmented and fallen apart
I have spent many hours in vain searching the parts catalog trying to locate a picture of that plastic part, or even of the bracket to which it is attached, but I just can't find it.
Does anyone know the part number so I can check with RTTY Electronics for a replacement?
If this is in the parts catalog but I am missing it over and over, a hint as to the location of the diagram covering the part would be appreciated.
I will be making a substitute part as a temporary repair, but I don't know exactly what the part looked like, since it disintegrated before I looked at it.
Carl
