If someone is planning to 3D print a transparent chad box I would be interested in obtaining one too, provided costs (which would have to include shipping to the UK) are affordable.
Regards
Rob

if you succeed I will pay for at least two, with the 35 holes :-)
Think about using sheet lexan / Plexiglass (R) etc and just 3D printing the top and bottom Plexiglass (r) can be easily heated so the body. And have some fun with 3D colors :)

Those holes aren’t needed for a 33. They are used for an adaptor plate for when the box is used on a 35ASR.

Thank you very much! I also got detailed pictures from Josh Bensadon and we have a reasonable 3D model of it. The only thing that we are missing are measurements for the two holes on the top.

John:
Here are a few photos of my somewhat tired Model 33 chad box. The photos and scales give you something to go by, but it is more complex than I thought. Given a few days, I can put down some dimensions on a hand sketch if you want.
..good luck..

All,
Does anyone happen to have an original Model 33 Chad Box (http://archive.computerhistory.org/resources/access/physical-object/2008/08/102688635.01.01.lg.JPG) that they can take detailed measurements off or even pictures for a few angles with a ruler for a guide? I have the ability to 3D print a new transparent one, but for that I need to have a good model of the box and how it attaches.
Thanks in advance!
