GA OMs;
When I picked-up that 35-KSR a few years back, I could not
turn the motor. I took the print mechanism off the base, and
covered everything with 30W oil. LOTS of 30W oil. I let it
set for a couple of days and then put it back on the base.
I rocked the motor back-and-fort with my finger tips, several
times a day. Then, in a few days, came the time when I rocked
the motor back-and-forth and it moved freely. I ran it through
several full cycles. Then I used an electric drill to turn it
at sub print speeds. Everything freed up and then I cleaned it
up and tested it out. It worked well.
