[GreenKeys] 14-15-19 Etc. motor

The motor will run fine at 60 hz. Only problem is that it will run faster
than it needs to be for the teletype machine. While not exactly correct, if
used in a 60 wpm machine , it will make it more like a 70 wpm machine. I
guess that if you had two machines using the 50 hz motors on a 60 hz line
they would 'talk' to each other only.

Someone mentioned changing gears. That might be possible, I don't know if
Teletype ever made gears so that a 50 cps motor could run on a 60 hz AC
line.

A 50 Hz motor should work fine on 60 Hz power - it's the other way you
can't go (because not enough iron in the 60 Hz motor to run it on 50.)
