Yea! I worked at Multi-Tech when that FM-300 was still “a thing” for them. Lots of generations followed but that was their money maker in the early days. I have several in the collection here as well as the FM-30 which was one of the first modems to use a digital discriminator for the receive path.
The FM-300 will do 110 baud and talk to a 101 or a 103 modem at the other end as they both use the same tones. You just need to put it into ANSWER mode so that the other end can be in ORIGINATE.
In the 70s and 80s, there were hundreds of those modems in service throughout the state of MN, connecting ASR33s to the statewide time sharing network called MECC, which was a CDC 800 series mainframe on the UofMn campus. So, they did 110 baud service quite nicely.
