[GreenKeys] 28 gearshifts

If anyone comes across a Model 28 strip printer, many of them had
a very nice

3-speed nylon gear shift (60-75-100 wpm) that was operate by a
knob on the keyboard. These

machines were used in central offices to monitor TTY circuits. The

base of the machine is a standard Model 28 KSR base - the strip

printer sits on a casting that adapts it to fit on the KSR base.
The base

and shift can be easily "re-purposed" into a 28KSR. My 28KSR was

made up that way.

I have a TeleType Modification Kit 195415 that I've had since
around 1970. AKA MX-810/UG & FSN 5815-051-3824. The two times
over the decades when I was going to install it, I couldn't find
it. Now I've found it but got rid of all of my Model 28's. This
is the 3-speed gear shift mod for the 28 KSR and 28 RO. There are
a few other modification kits that it isn't compatible with or
that require modification parts not included. Price negotiable
(meaning that I have no idea what to ask for it), My old standby
for a starting point (dbay) turned up no hits that weren't totally
unrelated or complete machines or typing units.

Looking for both gears to run a M28 at 60 wpm, or better yet the
upgrade kit to add a gear shift.
