Sure, but you'll break a lot of Apple applications (if not the kernel 
itself) because their programmers were just plain lazy at times.

In short, if the URL says "ITTY" then use it; similarly, if it says 
":8080" then use that as well (I'll leave out the login and the password 
for this exercise).

Oh, the Mac is just my client; I use FreeBSD as my server :-)
