I find that trying to connect to any of the ITTY services takes an hour 
or more, its most weird.

Using Firefox it sits there simply saying trying to connect for all that 
time, then it will eventually start streaming audio. This surprises me 
as most sites that dont respond, time out after a minute or two. I 
assume ITTY is doing something to keep it alive but it takes a very long 
time to complete.

Is this to be expected, is there any explanation? Once connected it will 
stay for 24 hours or more quite happily.

Its like trying to get a booked call across the Atlantic via an 
operator, so its very realistic!
