Hi Guys,
Thanks for all your input.
I have no connection with this machine; I just found it on ebay uk.
The guy is advertising it a GPO No. 2A but I suspected it was a Teletype
model and not anything from the British Post Office.
It looks pretty rough and the picture quality is not good so you cant make
out details on the ID plate.
Its item number is 352284306719 if its possible for you to see it - I know
this doesn't always work across some countries.
He tells a good story about how he modified the tape path because he
couldn't get tape of the correct width.
I could copy his text if anyone is interested but cant see it online.

That's an unusual machine. It's basically a Teletype Model 14 tape
printer. I have several of those. But for some reason, it was built
as a modified machine to print on the tape usually used in
reperforators. It's not a reperforator; there's no punch
mechanism. Nor is it a reperforator from which the punch has
been removed. The tape feed mechanism and shift system are
like a Model 14 (the tape position shifts), and the tape
guides are similar to, but wider, than those for the standard
5/16" or 3/8" tape.
Notice the two spacebars. That's very unusual.
It looks repairable. Worth repairing as an exotic
variant. What typebars does it have? Punctuation?
Fractions? Weather symbols?
