Black Box CL050A signal converters are available on that popular internet
auction website.  The Black Box CL050A converts RS232 signals to/from
current loop devices.  They will handle any Teletype machine with a 
selector magnet driver input.  They are not designed to handle high voltage 
loops where the selector magnets are keyed directly. A high voltage opto-
isolator and a few components added externally will enable the CL050A to 
key high voltage loops.  It is not necessary to change anything on the

The converters are new and the price is $29.00 plus shipping.  The manual is 
included but they are also available on-line.  I've used these converters
in the past and they work fine.
