[GreenKeys] Loop Supply

Series  connection for the holding magnets is wrong.  

 

The reason being is you want as little inductance in the loop as possible due to the rise time of the current, so that is a parallel connection.  



  I am sure the holding magnets are parallel for 60 ma loops.  I think that the larger pulling magnets were only used in a series connection for 60 ma and never paralleled for any normal loop.

I can’t remember exactly when I had my model 15 and later the 19 but I think series for selector magnets were preferred. Here is a oldie but goodie from my 1967 for your enjoyment
