Your thoughts brought up a few more. I feel it is very important for the
contest to go on so long as no one is risked, important communications
and observations are carried, and established emergency nets are not
compromised or interfered with. Operating effectively and safely during
a hurricane would be a valuable exercise. I have been told there is
usually very little lightning in a hurricane, what effects do large
cyclonic storms have on propogation?
