Subject: [LarrysList] Teletype collection needing a good home

I have a small Teletype collection needing a good home. I have the Model 28
with the tape reader and punch built into the unit, a Model 15 "mailbox"
unit, a tape printer, a printing tape punch, several tape readers, a large
1950's era metal radio rack with doors on both front and back,  a Teletype
Naval oscilloscope, power supply (loop current), patch panels and other
items found in a Teletype naval installation. I will gladly give this
equipment to someone for taking it home with them. All I ask is that
whoever takes it does not haul it to a scrapper the next day. I want this
stuff to be in the hands of a TTY enthusiast preferably one who is an
amateur radio op. Let me make this clear: I want nothing for it as most of
it was given to me. All I want is for it to be used. I can no longer horse
around this heavy equipment, and have no way to transport it. If you want
it, you will need to make arrangements for transportation. I recommend a
truck or trailer. It would be very hard to stuff this into an SUV, and
impossible to do so in a modern car.
