There was some discussion on this a few months ago. I ended up ordering
twelve rolls of the following from an office supply company and have liked
the paper so far. It has the same product number as what was being sold on
Amazon in sets of 12 but for slightly cheaper (on Amazon I only see them
being sold in singles for $12-$15 now).

I got them for $5.96 each plus $9.99 shipping for twelve rolls. It equated
to about $6.80 per roll including shipping.
It's an off-white color-- not canary, but more like a light gray. I prefer
this over pure white. The rolls fit without any problems on my M15/19
spools. The end of the roll is glued to itself sort of like a tape roll,
but it's impossible to peel the paper off of itself unlike a tape roll. You
basically have to cut the paper under where it's glued to unroll it a
little to feed through the printer. That was mildly annoying but it works
well if you have one of those credit card shaped sliding razor blades.
Paul with RTTY Electronics also has some 3-ply carbon rolls he sells for
$5.00 plus shipping. Colors are blue, pink, and white. I use them if I want
to distribute copies to multiple people. They work great for that purpose.
