[GreenKeys] Current Loop or RS232?

After looking a long time I finally got hold of a PDP8. I got it from another ham. The guy I got it from said he used to have a teletype hooked up to it. 

Is there a way I can determine if it is a current loop or an RS232 interface?  I assume if I guess wrong I could damage the teletype or the terminal board in the computer. Is this a valid worry?


Thanks for any help. I'm a newbie to DEC computers. Maybe I can finally put that tape relay in my teletype to good use.
