[GreenKeys] M28 leads? - East Lansing MI and Rochester MN

On a QRZ forum back in July, K8CPT asked about the value of a 28ASR
"My friend has two model 28 rtty in good condition and both working could
someone give me the average value of this unit as far as I know it's a
complete unit he also has extra paper and extra ink and all sorts of extra
parts but we'd like to know what the average value of 1 is"

Most of the responders on QRZ said all teletype machines are worthless
(poor deluded wretches that they are).

In one reply, K0RGR wrote -
"When you find out what the Model 28 is worth, let me know. There's another
one in my mother's garage acting as a door stop, I think. I think it's
worth the value of the scrap metal minus the cost of hauling it off myself."
