    Sorry to see you leave. I am a member of your typewriter list and a 
collector in a small way. Your web site is one of the most interesting 
and valuable in any subject on the web, thank you for it. AFAIK, while 
printing telegraph methods are very old the first Teletype was based on 
an early Underwood machine, so there is some connection. Since Franz 
Wagoner is credited with the first front-strike typewriter, that 
eventually became the Underwood, perhaps he should be given a place as a 
pioneer of the printing telegraph.
