Hi all!

It is so encouraging to see the continuing
growth of the i-Telex network in North America...

Our good i-Telex friends, Henning and Fred,
must be so pleased to see their work and efforts
rewarded...

I agree with Paul's comments, about how it "Feels"
to actually operate and enjoy orginal vintage
Telex equipment...

I can vividly recall setting up my i-Telex board
package, and all the initial help received from
Henning and Fred...

When it came time to finally test everything,
the moment came to actually press the start
button...

It was the first time in over twenty years,
I had seen the "Proceed to dial" lamp
come on, and establish a "Real" Telex call
using the exact TW39 protocols...

It was a moment in time I shall never forget...

All this was followed up shortly by the first
incoming Telex call received in North America
after Telex service had been discontinued...

Our good friend Henning gets credit for placing
that very first, very historical call!

This is the reason I am so passionate about i-Telex,
and wish to share my enthusiasm with all!

At the moment, my on-going project is the
complete restoration of a Western Union
M15KSR, Telex version, provided thru the great
kindness, of our good list friend, Jim Haynes...

My thanks also to our list friends Nick,
who supplied a really nice M15 cover,
and Henning for finding and supplying
a like new Siemens dial box...

When all is completed, it will be used on
the second channel of my TW39 board...

Thanks for listening!

Cheers!

Ken
