Hi agn!
Broken, or chipped M15 glass windows are a real problem
now...
It is nigh impossible to find replacements...
The original glass has a thin laminate material
sandwiched in between the inner and outer surface
to act as a "Safety" measure to keep it together in
case it is cracked/shattered!
I had a replacement glass made at an Apple Auto Glass
location...
They used a glass as used in tractor cab windows,
it is a thinner laminated glass, than standard thickness
safety glass...
The glass edge was perfectly bevelled by the technician,
and ground smooth to match my sample (Lexan)...
The finished product was slightly thicker than the original
M15 glass...
I just added a "Shim" washer at each rail location to make
up the difference...
Cost, an amazing $18.00!
Hope this helps!
Cheers!
Ken
