[GreenKeys] 5763 one-tube TU

This reminds me…

I have always wanted a communications receiver that could

also have a crystal-control feature. That way I could put it on

a fixed RTTY channel (commercial, or Ham). The TMC GPR90X,

Hammarlund SP-600 JX17, and HQ180XE radios, amongst others,

could do that.

But:

1) there are no more fixed RTTY channels to copy

2) International Crystal went out of business

Sort of like the Teletype Model 43 and Model 40 conundrum:

You can get a nice model 43, but the ribbons are unobtanium.

You can get ribbons for the Model 40, but the type chains

have all fallen apart!

Hi all!

My apologies if you guys have received multiple

copies of the pics of the 5763 TU schematics and

the pics of the TU itself...

I had some problems sending the attached pics

with my long winded text body...

I got a "Moderator intervention" notice, my file was

too big, so I emailed our good friend Gil to see if

he wud let them thru...

Apparently he did, but I probably caused the multiple

posting screw up...

Many sorries guys!

Anyways, hope you like them!

It was fun re-visiting this project after 47 yrs!

Cheers!
