[GreenKeys] More Teletype, but not the machines

Sixty years ago, we had several horse parlors. I was able to go into
one that had sat boarded up since the 1950s. There were a few rolls of
paper still there, tickets and racing forms all over the floor, and the
unmistakable footprint outlines of model 15s on a counter. I felt like
I was walking onto a set from "The Sting". As for maintenance, I am
sure someone from Western Union who was also a regular customer would
come to take care of them. Most of the parlors were on the top floors
of stores, the others were in re-purposed speakeasies in hotel cellars
so I'm fairly sure the service account for the machines and connection
were under the name of of the "front" store. One of these was a lavish
hobby shop with very attractive prices. Their selection of model trains
and prices for them were the best in central New York. No need to worry
about raids, the mayor and half of city hall were regulars.
