I Offer the following comments regarding MAGIC POTIONS -

I have seen the use of Simple Green on machines. Sarah used some Simple
Green on a couple of machines here.

I have used AMWAY's INDUSTRIAL CLEANER in the past.

I did not care for the Simple Green. Just didn't like the effort it takes.

AMWAY's INDUSTRIAL CLEANER is POTENT STUFF. Used undiluted it will
easily cause skin the slough off if not diluted or used carefully.

Either way, the best recovery from the use of MAGIC POTIONS is to run
the items cleaned through your dishwasher. The grief your wife will give
you is lesson enough, and all you will have to worry about after that is
how do you get your metal items "NICE" again.

Inasmuch as you have already violated the sanctity of the kitchen, do
the following:

1 - place your perfectly dry items in a pan or a cookie sheet, and run
them through the oven at about 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

2 - Once toasty warm, (untouchable) take your items into a non-kitchen
area and give them a liberal coat of WD-40.

3 - Let them cool, and then wipe off the excess WD-40.

The MAGIC POTIONS appear to go very deep into the grain boundaries of
most any metal. This removes a sort of patina normally found on them.

The OVEN TREATMENT seems to re-open the grain boundaries sufficient that
when you hit the hot items with WD-40 the grain boundaries will absorb
enough WD-40 to act as a solvent or "DOOR KEEPER" to allow your normal
lubricant to once again embed in your parts.

I am certainly no metallurgist, but it seems to work well.

Your Cookies and pies will not taste like WD-40.

Your significant other will recover nicely if you suddenly feel like
going to Papa Pietro's Fine Italian Dining, Outback Steak House, or
maybe Dairy Queen.
