Hi all!

Our friend John brought up some good info on
simple Green cleaner...

I am sure there have been many earlier posting on this
topic, but can't recall the specifics...

In short, I have been a "Solvent guy" for years and
cleaned many pieces of gear this way, with exc. results!

I have not used Simple Green before, John mentions
the use of "De-ionized" water as a rinsing agent...

Is this water the stuff you would use in steam irons etc.,
as in "Distilled" water?

I know bottled water (The small drinking ones) are
"Ionized" at source (Ozinated??)

Not sure about this, perhaps John can clarify...

I did seem some pictures of a M15 after cleaning with
Simple Green, and some surface rust "Spotting" was
observed and white material deposited on many
areas of the typing unit...

Just curious abt the success rate of this product
as I wud like to try cleaning a M15 base and kbd
with this and was somewhat concerned if it wud
soften the insulation of the wiring harnesses in
the process...

Pls excuse if this is topic is being re-visited
and I missed the previous discussions on it...

I keep forgetting to take my memory medication!

Cheers and tks!

Ken
