[GreenKeys] iTelex Hardware

Sure you could probably do something like that with a PI, but by the time you put it together you may have invested just as much if not more than what it takes to purchase the i-Telex board set. Not to mention someone still has to develop all the software and all the behind the scenes software and hardware to support that solution.

So you may have missed the bigger picture.

Is there a Steve Wozniak style "do it all in software" implementation of the hardware? Seems to me a Rasberry Pi connected to a RS-232 <-> 60mA loop adapter would be the only required hardware, the rest of the brains being implemented in software.
