[GreenKeys] OT: Need help to T-Shoot this Tek 485 scope -- AND OTHER OFF-TOPIC POSTS

Howdy Gil, greetings All,
Thanks for clarifying policy. Like most of these tightly-focused, crusty OM
lists, I'd like to think they are largely self-regulating, with GK being no
exception. Everything you said made perfect sense, at least to me.
While I did assume that Tek 485 was of sufficient general interest, I was
mostly just trying to tread lightly, when I suggested off-list replies.
Discretion the better part of valor and all that.
Thanks again for all you do, and to the membership at large - the GK list
is a great resource. Without this list, I'm not sure I'd ever have even
entertained owning and operating something as old and esoteric as a
mechanical TTY. And what a joy this has been, how many amazing people have
I met? Enriching is one word that comes to mind.
