[GreenKeys] Meter shunting...

It seems that from the catalog of the meters that the one you have should not need shunt. They list it at having a coil impedance of 1 ohm.

Any of the 127 series up and including 50 amps do not need an external shunt.

Subject: [GreenKeys] Meter shunting...

Hi all!

My express thanks for all the replies on the meter shunting

issue...

It never ceases to amaze me of the resources available

on Greenkeys to help others...

I did dis-assemble the meter in question, a Simpson

Model 127, 0-100ma...

There doesn't. appear to be any internal shunting...

They were originally used in rackmount panels to

adjust individual loop circuits...

Thanks again to all who helped/responded...

Cheers!

Ken
