[GreenKeys] PK232 connectors

Many years back, I discovered that the '5-pin' side of a DB-9F has the correct spacing to substitute
for these plugs. I used some simple shop tools where I worked, ground off the '4-pin' side, soldered.
wires to the five terminals, and covered it all with some epoxy. After the epoxy dried, I put several
pieces of heat shrink around it all. I got good service from these. They push on the five pins
sticking out the back of the PK-232 and there is enough friction to keep them in place. Never had one
work its way out.
It is a reasonable 'work around' for someone with some time on their hands and a few tools. A coarse
file would start the process as long as you don't go into the '5-pin' area. If someone is daring,
they might hold the device in their hand and press it up against a grinding wheel, ever so carefully.
Once the 4 pins are gone, you can solder wires as needed.
I found one that didn't get the full 'deluxe' treatment, and it shows the machine crimping that I used
to complete the process. Not a work of art, but functional, just the same. If I use this one very
much, I will do the epoxy and heat shrink things to make it more durable.
