Larry,   Yikes, that hurt!  Guilty as charged!  I'll accept your criticism and you've succeeded in making me feel "small".  SORRY TO THE LIST IF THIS IS HOW I CAME ACROSS!
    My actions are borne out of frustration of departing with many treasures (not necessarily - but including radio related ones) that ARE worth something, but are rendered useless in light of "overhead" e.g. shipping, eBay/PayPal commissions, non-payers, and finally USPS breakage!  That''s why I've stated that I'll just have to "throw them away" as it's not worthwhile to deal with these objects in any other way.
     I keep my possessions in tip top shape and paid good money for a lot of stuff and I see others get rewarded for their care/ownership with just returns - so YES, I feel cheated.  Also, yes, we could use the money because I will be entering into a mortgage again at age 66.
     I've stopped relisting stuff of eBay because things priced competitively aren't selling and it takes a LOT of time to construct an auction on eBay (especially the part where you actually have to package it up as it to send it in order to assess the proper actual shipping charges AND THEN IT DOESN'T SELL!!!    ... all, while we're trying to package up a house that we've lived in for 40 years.  Lots of stuff...lots of memories.

Also, let me mention that I donate LOTS of time to a local non-profit organization - so I'm not a complete mercenary and can't always be as charitable as I'd like to be :-( * * * * * * * * * * * Hello Dan, I too am departing the tty world.  Tons of every type of my machines being given away to good homes.  Terminal gear and boxes of gears and parts. Not once did I ever charge anyone for these past treasures.  It's just great to see them live on. I found your post of throw "them" away if you don't get money so petty and offensive.  I wonder how a person who claims to have been a hobbiest now finds the parts junk if you don't get paid.  Maybe you're just badly broke and need money...that seems to be the obvious!  Yours is the most pathetic post I've seen on this list in a long time. larryK2JIA
