[GreenKeys] Thyratron used in audio ! !

The 2D21 Thyratron is used as a VCA in several tube-based analog music
synthesizers. They are operated as a standard relaxation oscillator with
the DC control voltage input straight to the grid. I built a couple of
these modules once, and IIRC they were good across a range of several
octaves. Of course, the CV required careful scaling (tuning) to produce
anything like a tempered scale.
