[GreenKeys] Part number for Iron Horse

I aquired another M14 tape perforator (Iron Horse) a few months back. It is in pretty good condition after excessive cleaning, except for one little thing. Part of the carriage return mechanism is a small wheel which counts the characters. After 60 (or so) characters activated, a warning light comes on under the keyboard. Inside that little wheel is a spring - about 10" long and no more than 1/8" wide with a very small loops on each end.
Long story short,  the spring broke into two pieces and I am looking for a new one or if someone could provide me with the correct part number, I would greatly appreciate it.
I tried to see if my local watch/clock repair guy can help me out - no luck :(
