The whole problem here is that Teletype chose to use a standard
lamp socket based fuse.
Because, at the time, that WAS standard.
Unless you KNOW where to find the correct values, the only ones
you'll find in stores are the typical house fuses. 10, 20 and 30 amp.
I.e., Home Depot doesn't carry the correct ones.

Admittedly, 10 amps is better than a 30 amp fuse. And it will give
some protection against a catastrophic failure.
