Great video!
When I joined New York Telephone in 1970, those Model 15's were
still
in operation in the various departments. (Nothing much had
changed,
except we all had to wear Safety Glasses!)
By the end of 1970, the Teletypes were all gone.
They were first replaced with a hybrid of Teletype "video
terminals", Model 28's, and
Model 35's. Then the Model 40's came along. When I left the field
group and moved into Engineering around 1978, the 40's were on the
way out. It was an interesting decade!

That was when customer service was written in capital letters. Now
you have to wait at least an hour to get somebody on the horn - if
you are lucky.
