I have a 2800 WH battery and 2000W sine inverter. I use it to demonstrate working gear that uses 120VAC. Might work to run a tty machine!

That's a great idea. One of the ham-fests I go to has power for every table Now to find one other GKer to go along with the idea.
Anyone going to Mike & Key in Puyallup Washington next year ? All the other getting a table with power is quite hard to do.

Maybe we can all converge on Nick’s table…a Greenkeys mini-convention!
A suggestion - have at least one TTY set up and running - maybe even a couple talking to each other around the site on VHF. I'm sure many modern hams have never even seen a teletype machine in operation. With today's AC power options it should be feasible and sounds to me like a lot of fun.
