[GreenKeys] Hamvention 2017

Horrible.
I started going in 1992 and made about 80% of the years since.  I did not realize it had moved to Xenia until I woke up Friday morning and looked at the ticket.
The Hara Arena had some kind of magic that is hard to describe but this year was something entirely different.  I only spent about 3 hours and left - I will not be returning.
Maybe it is because I am used to my flea market "search pattern" that I walked every year, or maybe it was the lack of A/C in the metal out-buildings, or maybe it was the poor layout, or who knows...it felt to me like the morning I woke up to discover there is no Santa Claus - awful.  I left with the feeling that it was the end of an era, not the beginning of a new era.

I was just read the writing in the ARRL email. Who went? Was it as bad as it sounds in that newsletter? 
I've always wanted to go, and worry that I missed the best years.
