[GreenKeys] CRLF or not CRLF?

I was not on the 20M Autostart net on 14.075 (14.090?) when these 'hijinks' were going on. When this
happened, Irv sat down and figured what was needed to suppress Line Feeds after maybe three of them.
He was quiet about this, lest someone make a tape loop with LF LF LF BLANK BLANK LTRS LF LF LF BLANK
BLANK LTRS, etc. The down side of this was that perhaps a few others also found a 'floor full' of
paper when they got home from work. Everyone did not have a SELCAL working for them, and a carrier
would turn on their machines.
A bit later on, Irv got turned on to computers and had a Data General or some such at his disposal.
I don't think that he owned it at first, but did learn how to program it for use as a TTY machine on
the air. Then it was very simple to put in 'blocks' to thwart the jokers. Again, he was not real
vocal about this at first, but enjoyed their antics trying to annoy him.

The late Keith Petersen, W8SDZ, got a lot of complaints from people on the 3637.5 80M autostart net
about the number of Playboy Playmates images he was sending on the net. He shut off a few of these
guys by sending them a roll of paper! I think that he also cut back on pictures, too.
One of those ladies, who sat on a tall stool, was nicknamed, "Miss 3637.5". Not certain where the
original 'inspirational' photo came from. Nor who created it.
Ah, yes, great years! Somewhere around here I may have a few feet of copy from my time on 3637.5

Irv figured out to modify the "Mouse Machines" from California Telephone, or whatever it was called.
All it required was to exchange the locations of two Function Bars and you had non-overline and I
think Auto CR LF around 75 characters, and both a Carriage Return AND a Linefeed when hitting
the Carriage Return key.
He published a number of articles in the RTTY Journal on use of the Stunt Box.
