[GreenKeys] CRLF or not CRLF?

Regarding the software RTTY and what they send. I've seen it stated here
that software RTTY only sends CR but not also LF, and this makes life
difficult for heavy metal RTTY that expects both.

This morning I see a post concerning MMTTY, in which it is stated that
MMTTY sends CRLF as its default behavior.

Given that (from my limited perspective) it seems most contesters use MMTTY
bolted onto their logger to generate their RTTY, is this really a problem?

If we don't know for sure, perhaps I or someone can cruise over to the
various contest lists and get a definitive answer.
