   Oh, dear!  Suspense was a very popular CBS show and second only to 
Lux Radio Theater in popularity and prestige. Suspense featured well 
known movie and legit theater actors. The one who appeared most often 
was Cary Grant who loved doing radio.
     If you lived in New York or Los Angeles you could be in the 
audience of radio shows every night. Had to get tickets in advance. All 
free! Some of the best talent in show business performing for you. If 
you were a regular the pages would get to know you and you could often 
get in without a ticket. Saw a few shows out here when I was a kid.
