When my mother and father were married, dad worked at the local newspaper.

 

Instead of throwing rice, everyone threw chad.  Two years after they were married and getting ready to sell their car, they were still cleaning chad out of it.

Wow!  Chads!  Thats almost as bad as getting a box packed in small peanuts and forgetting. Dont open in a breezy shop!

The normal prize in things involving Teletype is a thimbleful of chads.


Back in Computer Science, we used to empty the chad bins from the 029 keypunches over peoples' heads; took ages to wash it out.
