Western Union Model 100’s were offloaded to Hams by WU in the late 60’s. I recall
going to a warehouse on Long Island to pick one out. A local Ham club was the
assigned “distributor”. All machines were tabletop models. The one I got
worked fine. I’ve seen a few on Ebay over the years.

Subject: [GreenKeys] Movie discussion...
Hi all!
This topic has generated a lot of interest tonite...
I think our good GK friend Wayne really deserves
today's "Kewpie Doll" prize...
He scored on two points, correctly identifying
both movie titles, and the teleprinter seen
in the film several times...
I wud never have guessed a W.U. model 100
teleprinter...
I was so sure it was a M12...
The W.U. model 100 is rarely discussed on this forum..
I know very little about it, I have heard they, W.U.,
had other later models of teleprinters...
It wud be nice to hear from some of our group
members if they have one of these machines,
and wud like to share some info about them!
Tks!
