[GreenKeys] i-Telex HAMRADIO/Germany hamfest report

Meanwhile for the 5th time, last weekend the i-Telex group attended the
biggest
European hamfest HAMRADIO Friedrichshafen / Germany with a
display of working teleprinters/teletypes.

With friends from all over Europe and beyond we shared again a
nice time having a lot of fun together.
This year we had on display: a Siemens T100S (mechanical machine),
a Siemens T1000 (electronical machine) and a Teletype 33ASR connected
with a customized 110 Baud software to the serial port board of
our i-Telex system. Internet connection was realized with a mobile 3G stick.
Unfortunately after a while a spring broke in the code bar unit of the 33ASR
and we needed a quick "on site" repair. Thanks to the profound knowledge
and skills of
a "pile" of teleype enthusiasts and even former teletype techs we could
locate the fault rather soon and started the repair work.

Also this year we could win a few members directly at the exhibtion and had
many nice talks to others who are interested and hopefully willing to join
later
in the future.
