[GreenKeys] ARRL RTTY/TTY RU

 I have been in contact with Brian Moran, N9ADG, and Jeff Stai, WK6I, regarding the ARRL RTTY RU and the use of TTY machines in the contest.  I gave them my take on the issue and it was noted that there may be an opportunity for some type inclusion in the contest.  Jeff told me he had been contacted by Dave, W5DT, about this with his idea on how to recognize machine users.  At any rate, the seed has been planted.  Jeff's comments were positive.  
Neither Brain or Jeff were too familiar with Greenkeys.  I gave them the information needed to join the group.
Jeff will begin to write an article in March for QST.  I think this is when the RU results are completed.  He has asked if there are any photos of contest TTY set ups or stories regarding machine usage during the RU that might be used in a future QST article.  I assured him that some of you guys had fodder for an article.  Send what you have directly to him.

Now, it's up to you.  If you have something, send it.  If you don't, perhaps you have a short story that you could put together.  I haven't use a machine in a contest for about 32 years... and I can't find the photos.  It would great to see a real TTY machine grace the pages of QST again.
